"Excellent location right inside the old city. Easy walk to nearby attractions, restaurants, bars and more. Check-in happens at a coffee shop outside Ploce Gate, so be prepared to walk 8 mins to the hotel. Fairly easy walk, but cobbled streets. Inside, the property, rooms and decorations are immaculate and beautiful. No elevator, so a fair bit of stair climbing. Minor point: safe wasn't functioning in my room due to previous guests leaving it locked. Staff is very friendly and helpful. John...

"Apartment is in an excellent location and not too many stairs to tackle, which is an added bonus. Our Host Zeljka was very nice. She met us at Pile gate and helped in hauling our luggage to the apartment. Apartment was very clean and added bonus was laundry facility. It helped us in drying our wet jackets and shoes. "We really enjoyed our seven night stay at the Berkeley Hotel from the moment we arrived. On arrival we were greeted by Elma who booked us in and gave us a warm welcome before recommending somewhere to eat nearby as we had arrived quite late. The room was a very good size with a large clean bed, a small balcony with table and two chairs and a well laid out bathroom with walk in shower. We received two small complimentary bottles of wine on arrival and put them in the rooms good sized...
