The Grand Hotel at the Grand Canyon

"We would not have chosen this hotel had it not been for the closure of our hotel inside the Grand Canyon due to late August flooding. However, this hotel was very attractive and set us up for easy access to the park the next morning. I had made an OpenTable dinner reservation at their steakhouse in advance of going there. When we went to check in for dinner, the two people assigned to this station were ill prepared to accommodate guests with reservations, let alone those that had none it made for a very unpleasant beginning to our dinner. After the inconvenience to simply be seated, we were very nervous about what kind of service we would receive in the restaurant. Fortunately, we had a server that knew what he was doing. His name is JODDY. He was very accommodating and expedited our drink and dinner requests quickly and accurately."

"We had to switch to this hotel at the last minute because of a water break at the south rim. This was a great place to stay, and we would probably stay here again. The staff was great. The only thing that would make it better would be a breakfast."

"We typically don't stay at big hotels like.this and try to stick to smaller guys. But the hospitality at this location was top notch. The night we arrived, we came in late and they had saved a spot for us to park just in case we couldnt find anything. She was soooo kind! All the staff was amazing. And all the amenities are what you would expect if a larger hotel."
