"Clean comfortable room with a comfortable bed. I didn’t like the smell of whatever cleaning product they used, it was a bit bit strong let the kind you used to cover up something. Was this recently a smoking hotel? Also I missed an cycle in the fitness center, although the machines that were there seemed to work well. All in all it’s about what you would expect for a moderately priced hotel in New Hampshire during leaf peeper season."

"Hear ye, hear ye all history nerds! Lovely property alert! Beautifully and impeccably maintained with historical integrity through the centuries it has been in operation. Early American to the bone, with a blush of Victorian décor (that wallpaper!) and seamless Mid-Century Modern lighting and furniture touches, Centennial House feels alive, colorful, sun-filled and poised to welcome all who adventure to her door. Innkeeper David an absolute joy -welcoming, insightful, witty and generous with information about the property and surroundings. His breakfast embraces local flavors and reflects his talents as a chef and hospitality mensch. Was only passing through - so much too short of a stay. Will return to explore every nook and cranny. Bravo."

"Our room was quiet, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was nice--more than enough for a decent breakfast before heading out-- waffle maker, toast, yogurt, cold cereal, fruit, juice coffee, and tea, etc. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The staff was very helpful and parking was super easy right next to the room. The only slight downside was a strong musty odor in the entryway of the room (106), but the room itself smelled clean and was just fine."

"The room was clean. They have made improvements. There are now hair dryers in the room and they have installed a coat rack. We had a very enjoyable stay for my class reunion. The only real amenity is 24 hr coffee in the lobby and the ice machine. Restaurants and laundry are within walking distance . Thus was our 2nd time staying at this hotel and I will definitely stay here again."

"Idyllic inn setting wth beautiful mountain and October foliage views. Innkeepers very friendly. Community area included a cozy wood burning fireplace with a large screen TV. Large outdoor patio with heaters for autumn cold. Expansive property for games or exploring. Room met our needs and had a private bath. Continental breakfast. Restaurant was available for dinner Thurs -Sun. Only minor issue was not being able to get WIFI in our room (#1) and room was over an active kitchen until dinner service ended."

"Overall our stay was good and our son loved the trip. Really the only con I can say is that one of the queen beds made a really large noise when moving in the bed to the point you thought it would break. That obviously didn’t happen but it made us slightly concerned. Other than that, it was a great trip!"
