Belle vue, et c'est à peu près tout

Le Scenic Motel porte bien son nom : depuis la chambre, la vue sur Moncton au loin, noyée dans les forêts, est magnifique. Mais pour le reste… Le motel est totalement isolé sur une route déserte au beau milieu de nulle part (et pas du tout à Moncton comme indiqué dans l'adresse, mais dans une banlieue éloignée), il n'y a rien à proximité. Le bâtiment est ancien, voire vétuste. Le confort dans la chambre est un peu meilleur, même si la propreté n'est pas toujours au rendez-vous (beaucoup de poussière sous les lits) et que les lits grincent, et même si la décoration de la salle de bien est kitsch, elle reste plutôt correcte et fonctionnelle (même si l'arrivée d'eau chaude fait un peu des siennes). Les propriétaires sont néanmoins courtois et très disponibles.

Clean and comfortable,

Wi-fi wax horrible, wouldn't let you stay on, kept kicking you off. Most of the staff were great, one was not too friendly. Couldn't use the laundry, as it was first come first serve and kept missing it, that was annoying.

Dated room, bed sagged in middle.bathroom remodellong looks goodbut unfinished...screws left out of hinges and nothing to keep new window open.

Very disappointed!

Where do I begin with how bad our room was and it was supposed to be one of the renovated rooms! I'll start with the positives - new flat screen TV, no air conditioning but a ceiling fan plus another fan, bathroom updated but toilet paper holder fell off the wall and only 1 of 4 light bulbs above sink worked. Manager could only find 1 replacement. Now the negatives - floors were dirty, curtain hooks broken, duvet/comforter cover dirty, furniture pieces (TV stand, night table) scratched, shelf for suitcase broken, table lamp had only 1 light bulb and shade had a hole in it, grounds unkept.

Le personnel à la réception assez froid et pas tres accueillant. Par contre, il nous a référé un resto pour souper (Jeans), très bien et pas tres loin du centre ville. Endroit tranquille.

Un arrêt d'un soir pour se reposer.

De l'extérieur, pas attirant, mais dans la chambre, c'était propre et confortable. Le proprio nous a donné des informations pour trouver un restaurant dans les environs. Lit confortable et salle de main propre.

Close to Magic Mountain

A great place to stay if you're interested in Magic Mountain or Magnetic Hill! Only a 5 minute drive away, and not far from the Champlain Mall either.

Motel looks a little rundown from the outside but the rooms are in great shape. Very nice view toward Moncton.

We enjoyed our stay at the motel. Driving distance to downtown Moncton and Magnetic hill.

Excellent choice

Stayed for two nights, on separate stays six days apart. First room was not renovated, but nicely furnished with a full sofa and chair. Lots of space. Second room was renovated, but had two beds, so not as much extra space. This is an observation, not a complaint, as the two rooms cannot be compared directly. The renovated room does not have carpeting, which is an improvement (and should be an approach taken by other facilities). The staff with whom I dealt was efficient. A broken fan was replaced immediately. Enquiries about needs or requirements were made and any minor issue (a loose toilet seat, for example) was promptly addressed. Staffing is minimal, however, and upon my return visit there was no one in the office and a sign was posted indicating return would be in fifteen minutes. I waited almost half an hour, and have no idea how long before that sign was posted the actual departure had taken effect. As I was not in a rush, this didn't affect me, but could be problematic for others. Additionally, the office is closed as of eleven in the evening. Late arrival can be arranged, however I do not know what form this arrangement takes as I did not require it. Overall, I was perfectly satisfied and would both return and recommend the motel.

Great for families

We had the kitchenette suite as it was the last room available, very comfy and a great view! Windows on both sides allowed a nice breeze, the kitchen had full sized fridge and stove/oven, nice counter space...would return!

Affordable & very close to Magic Mountian

The Motel is in a convenient location that is a short 5 minute drive to Magic Mountain, the Casino & lots of Restaurants. The person at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was fairly clean but slightly out of date. The beds were clean & comfortable. Not a bad little place for the price :)

Je dois vous dire que ce motel est mal propre...les tapis sont dans un état lamentable. Ce motel ne devrait pas être dans votre choix, car je ne pourrai me fier à 100 pour cent de votre sélection.
