"The location was excellent! However, the breakfast buffet left something to be desired—we only ate there once. Please note that we visited in April and the building’s air conditioning was not yet turned on, so our room was quite warm. Even with the window open, it didn’t help much and it was very noisy. That said, the staff was friendly and welcoming."

We were pleasantly surprised to receive a bottle of wine as a welcome gift—something that many hotels don’t offer—which made us feel very special. Since we didn’t open the wine, we left it as a gift for the housekeeper. I also really appreciated having a small refrigerator and a coffee maker in the room. These amenities are quite rare when traveling in Europe, and they were extremely convenient. The hotel’s location right next to the metro made getting around very easy. I would definitely stay at Hotel Oktogon Haggenmacher again and would highly recommend it to family and friends."
