"Excellent location in the beautiful town of Monsaraz. The room was clean and spacious, well stocked and a great balcony terrace overseeing the vast plains below where we watched an amazing sunset. Many restaurants walking distance. Carlos greeted us and was very helpful helping us to out room. The property outside patio was lovely with a small pool overseeing the same view as from our balcony."

"Easy check-in, to a historical and well utilized space. The living and dining rooms exuded long history. Excellent breakfast, freshly prepared and well attended. "

"If you like the idea of staying in a thoughtfully reimagined old Inn Casa Pinto should be on your list. All of the rooms are individually decorated and fitted with stone walls in the bathrooms and showers. There's a nice breakfast room inside and a small garden breakfast area for summer. It was nice to have close access to the restaurants and shops right outside the door."

" This was our second stay at Hotel de Moura. It is a throwback to a more elegant era. The floors, ceilings and walls exhibit craftmanship that would be difficult to reproduce today. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It has convenient parking and is an easy 6 minute walk from the historic center and castle. The only downside is the lack of an elevator. The receptionist offered to carry our bags to our room. We are seniors and carried our bags up as we were travelling light. We will definitely stay there again."

"It is a beautiful property. However, if you are not staying here with small children you may be disappointed. The hotel clearly markets itself as very child and family friendly, and it has dedicated children’s areas that are very close to main areas such as the dining room. As a result it is not peaceful in many areas of the property. Even dedicated adult swimming pool hours in the spa are not respected by guests with their children. And the dining room at dinner was not at all peaceful. They should work toward separating the noise from main areas, as they have plenty of space. Also, one should avoid Room 207 as it is adjacent to the housekeeping staging area and one can hear noises of the linen carts throughout the day. "

"Everything for this visit was better than advertised. It is in an old Convent, but they have redone everything and the rooms are very modern, but you can walk the whole building and see several hundred years of history. Anna is super helpful and makes sure everything is perfect. One of the most peaceful and inspiring places we have ever visited. "
