Beautiful hotel

Phenomenal stay. It was gorgeous and the entire staff were wonderful. It was extremely close by to the wedding we were attending and the accommodations was the best out of our entire Italian trip. All the comforts of home. Quiet, peaceful, and romantic.

More than you expect

Breathtaking scenery, the place in in the middle of vignards and olive trees, even with a pool. Great, helpful staff, perfect location, calm and spacey and very clean and sustainable.

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Tuscany

An old monastery renovated with care beautiful surrounded by olive trees and wine fields. Fully equipped apartments with kitchen. A great starting point for sightseeing in the heart of Tuscany – Siena, Chianti, San Gimignano and Midevel festival in Monteriggiano – or for cycling or walking in beautiful nature. The staff is really nice, helpful and dedicated to give you a good holiday – and they serve a delicious breakfast. There are good restaurants within 10 minutes walk. It was a perfect holiday.

Ok - men ikke ril prisen…

I forhold til prisen manglede der hjerte og passion på stedet. Vi oplevelse problemer med at få skiftet håndklæder, ventilator var i stykker ved ankomst (ej a/c på stedet). Gårdspladser samt poolområder var delvist med småsten, hvilket er helt ok, men der var en del ukrudt/ græsser som burde været fjernet. Morgenmaden var positions-anrettet og blev serverer frisk. Dog med ekstrabetallig for spejlæg/omelet. Frugten ikke altid helt superfrisk. Ikke noget vi normalt vil anmærke, men til 250 euro/nat havde vi forventet at alt spiller.

Questo luogo è ben collegato ma totalmente immerso nella natura, tra vigne e boschi. Le camere sono accoglienti e dotate di tutto il necessario, la vista su Monteriggioni è incredibile, il giardino è curatissimo, la piscina da sogno, la colazione ricca.. insomma consiglio vivamente, non saprei che altro dire. Conto di tornarci!

Pricey, but excellent

Wonderful welcome: The inn has large rooms and the property is on beautiful grounds, right on the Via Francigena walking path. Copious and excellent breakfast.

Simply the best

When it comes to views, Borgo de Brandi takes some beating - the pictures don't lie, and from breakfast in the courtyard to chianti in the hammocks it is spectacular. The sunrises and sunsets overlooking Monteriggioni are to die for ; the afternoons round the pool are the definition of relaxation. The location is fantastic - so many sightseeing highlights on the doorstep but far enough away so that you can immerse yourself in Tuscan tranquility surrounded by orchards and vines. What the pictures can't tell you or show you, though, is how good the people are. The accommodation, location, ambiance etc are amazing - the service, unbelievably, is better. Giorgia was flexible, helpful, friendly, approachable, informative and understanding throughout - nothing was too much effort, and everything was done with a smile. A simply stunning corner of the world that has an even stunning young lady as a host - thank you, you made an already amazing holiday truly special.

BEAUTIFUL property! The scenery & landscape are unmatched. Claudia (reception) is one in a million. Everywhere should have a Claudia :) Gardens & Pool are in pristine condition. Delicious breakfast (and olive oil!) Best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had! Perfectly serene. Amazing nights sleep. We would DEFINITELY return!

A MUST stay in Tuscany!

My husband and I have been travelling all over Italy for the past few weeks and can’t say enough good things about Borgo De Brandi. What a dream. If you are looking for a place to stay in Tuscany book here! It is surrounded by the most beautiful scenery of vineyards and olive trees with the most magnificent view of the old fort walls of Monteriggioni. The accommodations are very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We originally only booked here for 2 nights and upon arrival immediately booked 2 more nights because we were so impressed. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast buffet in the morning is delicious. Their picturesque property is perfect for relaxation whether you choose to lay in a hammock or by the pool. There is not a restaurant onsite however, every suite has a kitchenette (with everything you need for cooking) or they have bikes available for use onsite that we used to ride over to Monteriggioni (5 min bike ride away) for dinner inside of the old city walls at night. I could go on ... we will 100% be back in the future!

Wir hatten ein gemütliches Appartement mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht auf Monteriggioni. Die zentrale Lage in der Toscana ermöglichte uns schöne Ausflüge in die unterschiedlichen Regionen und Städte. Trotzdem ist die super erholsame Ruhe des Borgo de Brandi inmitten der Weinberge und Olivengärten hervorzuheben. Wunderbar das Schwimmen im herrlich gelegenen Pool! Auch das toscanische Frühstück mit zum Teil eigenen Erzeugnissen und sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal trug zu einem positiven Urlaubserlebnis bei, ebenso wie die Tipps der Chefin - danke Claudia!

Bra boende mellan Florens och Sienna

Mycket bra boende, Blev uppgraderade utan kostnad. Fick en mycket bra lägenhet på andra våningen. Dock lite mörk. Mycket trevligt bemötande och service. Delar av fastigheten har tidigare varit ett koster. Från boendets stora trädgård kan man direkt nå den gamla pilgrimsleden mellan England och Rom. Bra poolområde och fantastiskt utsikt till den gamla staden Monteriggioni. Städerna San Gimignono och Volterra lämpliga dagsutflykter från boendet.

Relaxing at its best

Borgo de Brandi is perfectly located and everything is beautiful arranged in and around the facilities. We were welcomed warmly and friendly by the manager Angela, who provided the perfect service together with the staff for a relaxing and nice stay.

Amazing

Simply fantastic. Location, facilities and staff were all amazing. The apartment itself was spacious and very clean with incredible views. A large swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers, a kettle for tea and coffee was supplied on request, even did a spot of washing whilst we were there! Staff couldn't be more helpful in every way, from special made made bruschetta at breakfast to a lift to the bus stop on our last day (it's a 3km walk!). Just amazing, thank you and grazie mille!

excellentes villas avec appartements independants. accueil tres chaleureux. un petit bemol sur le bruit possible avec vos voisins (nous entendions les enfants tot le matin) et sur le menage non fait tous les jours. pour le reste rien a redire c etait parfait!
