Amazing breakfast!! There is a free hotel shuttle that takes you from back and forth from Monterosso to the hotel, runs hourly. This is a must because the hotel sits up on the hillside. Spectacular views. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Highly recommend!!!

The views from the hotel are amazing. Loved being up on the hilltop and the property was beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast was so delicious with a large assortment to enjoy. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming! We had to leave on the early train and they packed us a nice little breakfast which was so kind. And their shuttle service is very convenient especially if you arrive by train with luggage. Overall highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Cirque Terre!

Great stay. Very quiet with excellent views from our balcony. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choices. Hourly shuttle service made it easy to get in the center of town from the hillside hotel. Cinque Terre is amazing with lots of hiking options and excellent train and ferry service to the five towns.

Great breakfast assortment, staff were great, views were beautiful. Have to shuttle down the mountain to get to town, many times there were guests left as shuttle filled up, therefore they had to wait an hour for it to come back. This is the only negative about the hotel. Overall very nice stay.

Fantastic view!!! Clean and comfy bed! Air conditioner only runs when the room key is in the room so you often come back to a hot room and it takes a bit of time to cool down. We would often go on the balcony to cool down until the room was cooler. You have to sometimes wait for the shuttle during busy times of the day.. maybe having two shuttles during busy times of day could help..however, they really make an effort to hurry back for you. They really try. Breakfast is fantastic and staff is very accommodating and helpful. The grounds and the hotel is kept bery well and very clean. I would definitely come back and recommend to others.

Beautiful hotel pitched on the side of the hill. The buffet breakfast was lovely. The staff was helpful four out of the five drivers that brought you up and down the hill was helpful. There is a queue for the transportation and that seemed to be a difficult thing for some people to figure out. In addition, going down the hill and coming up the hill at specific times had to be planned around for dinner etc. Or you can call a taxi.

The hotel has the most amazing view...by far the best view in the entire Cique Terre area. The hotel has a lot good parking if you need to bring your car. The single lane road to access the hotel is a bit harrowing but there is a shuttle down to Monterosso every hour. The hotel is warm inside and the breakfast was wonderful. A gripe for us was the air conditioning or lack of. The website includes air conditioning but they will not turn it on until 27 degrees C. My wife was having hot flashes but they still would not turn the air condition on. Just beware.

This hotel is a true gem. Set in a mountain with glorious views of the coastline and other "terre's," it creates the quintessential Italian seaside experience. The shuttle to the town/beach ran frequently, on time, and with trips late into the evening. Great breakfast, lovely staff. Our room had a terrace as big as the room with a stunning view! A truly special spot.
