Very helpful and friendly staff available to book last minute excursions and provide recommendations, including dealing with a flat tire. Breakfast was delicious. Walking distance to restaurants in Santa Elena and short distance to many activities in the Monteverde area. Highly recommend.

El Establo Mountain Hotel
Our room was at the top of the hill which was a great view, but no soundproofing. It was loud. The towels and the shampoo/body wash were subpar. Hotel Belmar
This is a beautiful and very thoughtful hotel in Monteverde. The rooms are well laid out and each has an incredible view of the Nicoya Peninsula in the distance. The balcony was amazing.
