"Das Hotel war insgesamt sauber. Das Zimmer zwar recht klein, aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ok. Allerdings war der Aufenthalt nicht besonders einladend: Auf dem Flur roch es durchgehend unangenehm nach Zigarettenrauch. Das Frühstück war leider eine herbe Enttäuschung – sehr lieblos und qualitativ schlecht. Aufgrund des schlechten Frühstücks und des Geruchs im Flur würde ich hier nicht noch einmal buchen."

"We booked 2 twin rooms through expedia and when we arrived we were told that only one room was booked Two of us had to get a single room at an extra cost of just under 30 euros each I spoke to the manager the next morning and he is blaming expedia and told me i must ring them to get a refund I feel like i have been fobbed off"

"This place is amazing. If you are looking for something unique with over 500 years of history then this is the place. The dining rooms are covered in pictures from the poems of Jean de la Fontaine, because why not. The staff are also really friendly."

"Nous n'avons passé qu'une seule nuit dans cet hôtel, qui avait sans doute, fut un temps, du standing. Il est un peu vieillot, même si les chambres en elle mêmes sont plutôt spacieuses, la vue sur l'arrière de l'hôtel n'envoie pas vraiment du rêve (une serre à l'abandon). De plus, contrairement au message reçu avant notre arrivée, la piscine et le spa sont fermés de manière définitive depuis le mois d'août. C'est pourtant la raison essentielle pour laquelle nous avions réservé dans cet...

"Ce qui est pratique c’est que l’hôtel est au cœur de la ville. Quelques cheveux retrouvés dans la chambre en arrivant, très vétuste et mal insonorisé, déco très vieillissante ! Petit déjeuner très copieux et bon."

"35 years after last staying at this place, we returned for a long weekend. Perfect staff, remarkable food in a Michelin starred restaurant, and lovely grounds. The pool was warm, the breakfast presented in a unique manner. The return visit lived up to the anticipation. Not sure we should wait 35 years before returning again!"
