"The lobby was beautiful, & Ms. Joy was professional.
The room was torn apart as if renovations were being performed prior to our arrival. Our 3 year was playing with air filters she found on the floor. (I immediately took them!) The microwave insides were literally on the table & not in the microwave. Our 3 year found trash in the drawers. (Again, took it from her.) The curtains were broken & hanging & we could NOT close them; therefore, our room was lit up at night. (My wife needs total darkness to sleep.) The towels were old & rough. The pool (indoor & newly renovated) was freezing cold! I attempted to return to our room from complaining at the front desk & my key card did not work! Luckily, my wife was in our room to let me in. We were scheduled for two nights. With everything we encountered, we left the next morning & did breakfast at IHop. (We could NOT afford another disappointment.)
We did not enjoy our stay at all! This was our first time visiting Ashboro NC. Poor representation in our opinions."
