"The property was as beautiful as it was in the pictures with lovely grounds and the hot tub was the icing on the cake.
Unfortunately though, the outside of the property was swarming with wasps so unable to keep doors and windows open and nor could you fully relax in the hot tub. My partner got stung on the first night.
Also there was a trap in the corner of the bedroom which made us feel uneasy sleeping at night. And the window above the bed did not have a blackout blind so was woken early...
"We did not have the room I booked ie superior and were given a small room with a small bed. After a long wait we were given a slightly larger room and bed. Staff were friendly but incompetent and not there most of the time. No sense of security."

I loved it. These are the sorts of places I write about. Montgomery is a market town, beautiful buildings including the ruins of a 12th century castle, nice shops and cafes and pubs.

We enjoyed visiting the old ironmongers Bunners. The church contained some interesting and unique historical monuments.
