"Check in are brisk as the lady working the reception are fast and efficient. The room I am in (RM58) are indeed spacious but I think they just updated the flooring and bed. Other than that, bathroom are very outdated and the cleanliness of the refrigerator are not desirable. But they do provide you with an air purifier which I appreciated as it would be musty if not. Breakfast are very simple, coffee( till 12pm), bananas , cereals and granola bar. There are also a fridge for bottle water , 2 per person which is a nice touch. I think they try to upgrade and still in the process of renovating as the area is pretty large. But for the price , I would still consider if I am at the area again."

"We stayed at Cayuga Blu hotel for my son's graduation from Ithaca College. Staff made the entire experience for us so special. They left a toy bear in graduation attire in each room we booked and allowed us to use a small party room for free to celebrate after graduation. The room fit 12 people. We were a group of 7 so it was perfect. Management let me decorate the party room in the early morning so when we came back from graduation everything was ready."

"Requested early check-in a few days prior to booked day and was told that a note would be made to accommodate. Arrived early just in case a room was ready a bit earlier so there would be more time to get ready for a wedding. Seemed like everyone else who booked at the hotel for the wedding who also requested early checkin had the same issue with no rooms being ready.. Was told to come back and check in again and didn't have a waiting list or queue for who would get the next available room. They tried to accommodate by having us change and get ready in a conference room and has the public bathroom. No table, chair, mirror in the conference room. At some point 5 other people came into the conference room to get ready as well. They were attending a different wedding and seemed to have the same issue with early check-in.."

"I travel to Ithaca often for work. My room (single king) was spacious and clean, a good table to do work. It was on the first floor, which I wasn't thrilled with. However, the desk is manned 24/7, so I felt a little better about it. There is a nature trail close by, if you're able, I recommend brining sneakers that can get muddy or hiking boots if you want to get some exercise outside of the small gym. Overall, good experience. I look forward to trying out the spa next time I stay at La Tourelle."

"Great location with wonderful views of Seneca Lake. Large rooms, quiet, but bed and pillows were too hard for us. Were told beforehand that the restaurant would not be open, but it actually was, did not eat there. Okay continental breakfast, decent coffee. Good spot if you’re on the wine trail."
