"The room was clean. The floor lamp lacked repair. The AC/Heat lacked control so we turned it off. We couldn't get the TV to work (looked for music channels). Breakfast was all cold ....we're accustomed to better. Parking was okay at front ... back not so much. Staff was excellent. "

"The hotel advertises a breakfast buffet; it's not much more than some toast, bagels, muffins, cereal and yogurt. On a buffet I would expect eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles and pancakes . . maybe it's a cultural thing. While clean and well maintained, I would change the name to Stark, very industrial and monochromatic. They have a guest laundry, coin operated but they cannot provide any change; they should consider tokens instead that could be charged to the room."

"I'm still trying to figure out when you go to a hotel if and when they make up your room. I wish they would tell you when you check on if it is daily or every other day. Some even every 3 days. I would at least like my bed made and towels changed daily. A 10 minute job. After all we ARE paying for this service"

"I realize it’s a ‘value’ property, but my stay was well below budget expectations. Check in correspondence was all in French (thanks Google Translate) with the exception of the two check-in/out ladies, the staff were indifferent, unattentive and borderline rude. Woke up at 3am to find an ant colony living under the bedside lamp. Bathroom floor towel also covered in ants. I had to leave and it was 4am. Charged my card the room plus two deposits. Greasy dive hotel, don’t bother. "

"Ruby foos is an iconic institution in Montreal the staff is friendly the rooms are clean and the amenities are great being that it is an old respectable institution in Montreal they are still doing restaurations to the property but I have full confidence that the administration is working diligently to restore the hotel to it's former glory "

"Il y avait plusieurs cheveux dans le lit( j’ai dû aller chercher un autre ensemble de drap) j’ai allé voir à 3 reprises la femme de ménage, car il n’y avait qu’une débarbouillette, une boite de mouchoir presque vide, pas de sucre ni coffee mate pour le café, et aucune carte pour le guide de tv! Et pour finaliser le tout, le deuxième soir, on vécu des claquements de portes réguliers et de la musique forte en plus de gueulage, il a fallu que mon mari leur demande d’arrêter tout ce bouquant!!! Plus...

"Really disappointed with the service...there was no microwave in room...téléphone was not working...bathroom exhaust didn't work..evening after complaining nobody took it seriously...reception staff really laid back...will not recommend spending hard earned money on this property...we stayed there 2 nights...requested to change the room...nobody listened..."

La qualité de l’image de la télé est analogue des années 90, autrement dit pourrie. Le déjeuner est correct, bien varié et du bon café."

"Location,breakfast, pool and spa made us choose this hotel. Breakfast was very good, more than expected.They even had scrambled eggs. Pool and spa had FULL of screaming children which was not very relaxing. Rooms need tlc and are outdated. A little section with a few tables outside would be appreciated. Front desk staff was not rude but not very friendly either.They did not seem to like their job.Overall OK but would not stay more than 1 night.Location was great.Next to many restaurants."

Nous devons nous rendre a la réception pour du papier toilette, serviettes, kleenex et même les sac a pour que nous devrions nous même aller les porter dans les poubelle extérieur. Le pire hotel que j'ai vu."
