"Recently painted an upgraded rooms but didn’t mask the fairly old infrastructure of the hotel. I stayed in a room with an interconnecting door that was quite noisy from the neighbours next door. I would recommend specifically asking for a non-interconnecting room if you are a solo traveller. The breakfast had everything you would expect but the quality of the hot food wasn’t great. Easy parking and as budget hotels go it wasn’t the worst."

"We had an apartment. The apartment block as a whole seemed freshly decorated, as was our room; which was also equipped to a high standard. The main hotel was well presented. All staff were very welcoming and helpful. Excellent breakfasts. Hotel is really well situated for the centre of Salisbury. Bit of confusion regarding the car park as there is a public car park on Brown Street, which is separate from the hotel car park. We were on the top floor, which had no proper wardrobe, probably due to the sloping ceiling, just a short hanging rail. The apartments on the lower floors more likely to have a wardrobe. We had specifically requested a high floor and it was certainly adequate for our 2 night stay."

"Perfect for a stay in the centre of Winchester. Comfortable beds, nice rooms and bathroom. Staff were great, very helpful and the overnight carpark fee covers you until checkout. The bar was comfortable and had great recommendations too. Good value for money with a little feel of luxury. Have stayed here twice now and not been disappointed."

"Accommodation was ok and staff were friendly, clean rooms couldn’t ask for much more. The restaurant let the hotel down. Firstly when my husband asked about booking a table the first waiter wasn’t friendly. We ordered a mocktail which never came we had to query it before they realised it’s because they ran out of mint. The food was ok but expensive, not many vegetarian options. They advertised sticky toffee pudding which was actually syrup pudding with a pot of toffee sauce. I was gutted was so looking forward to it ask don’t eat puddings often. when I queried it the waiter they thought I was weird, I suggest you google sticky toffee pudding recipe! Great that children under 5 eat free but no vegetarian option on the menu, we had to ask, when it came out it was missing veg which was advertised. Breakfast was ok, although the cooked breakfast buffet had no vegetarian options and they used caged eggs! Shameful i hope they find it in their conscious to move to free range. Would stay in the accommodation again but would find somewhere else to eat!"

"Clean rooms, very central for the town. Would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay in Winchester. Breakfast was good and enjoyed the pool. Although please note children only allowed for 1 hour in the morning which was a bit of a disappointment."
