I was on a business trip to Penang, and decided to stay at the Lone Pine for a long weekend's relaxation. This was a very good decision! I knew it was going to be good from the moment I arrived. We stayed here for 2 wonderful nights. The hotel features in the World Boutique Hotel Awards Collection 2015 and rightly so. With 11 beautiful bedrooms, library, roof terrace, stylish traditional design and friendly staff who make every effort made to accommodate customers exacting requirements this as good as it gets. Just don't expect an olympic sized swimming pool, gymnasium and conference facilities.

A brilliant place to stay in Penang if you like something different. It ticked all the boxes for me. Buildings are wooden structures with ornate doors & furnishings. artifacts from various countries and bright multi- patterned tiling which lends to its charm. Our accomadation facres a lily pond.
