"La Veranda Hotel has to be on your bucket list. The rooms are spotless, the staff is so friendly. It’s a few minutes walk from the beach. The Jasmine restaurant downstairs has the best food, Richard the owner is so so nice and accommodating. If you take a 5 minute walk you are in the middle of the entertainment district, great pubs and restaurants. I’m definitely coming back to stay at La Veranda."

"The resort looks good but isn’t maintained at all the toilet was leaking into the room and the maintenance crew didn’t show up even after many calls the road leading up to the hotel is closed for very big works not a normal closure looks like it will be long before they are easily accessible by car and the staff wasn’t really helpful i guess because we are off season"

"We had an excellent seaview room with a huge balcony. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, but the cooked breakfast items were not hot as I like it. Good Illy coffee. A bit short on milk in rooms. There is building work in the streets around, and Google maps had difficulty getting around the works. No Uber & Bolt was a long wait. Hotel cabs were better. "
