We really enjoyed our 10 night stay at Pedras do Mar resort. Great facilities and some really nice staff. Beautiful location and only 15 mins by car to Ponta Delgada. If you want to be able to walk around a town and choose from bars/restaurants every evening this is not the resort for you, although having said that, a taxi is only 15 euros in to Ponta Delgada where there is plenty to choose from. The hotel was sufficient for our needs with a good range of facilities. The hotel staff were amazing and very accommodating. Whilst the property looked dated, it had everything we needed, was very clean and there were obvious signs of continued maintenance. Our room was great and well presented.
