"The hotel and room/bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Very quiet room and ocean view. Few minutes drive from Sao Filipe. Ac and bathroom water work great."

"1500 letters are not enough to say what an extraordinary cool stay you will have at Casa Marisa. Against the stunning backdrop of Pico de Fogo volcano the harsh , dramatic lava fields surround this unique lodge. Our funco (roundhouse bungalow) was just perfect. No shortage of hot water and funco #9 has a good geothermal natural warmth . The breeze keeps you cool and it does cool Down at night. We enjoyed the meals we had and Marisa makes a great bartender. The stunning gardens add to the ambiance of the place! Don’t miss out on great Cape Verdean hospitality and a truly other wordly location !"
