"We enjoyed staying in a historic place with a very beautiful view of the Douro River. Please note that the only way to get there is by car and the most convenient option is to take advantage of the dinner offered. It should be noted that there is an opportunity to taste very good local wine on site."
"the room accommodations, and deck area were outstanding! the staff was amazing, Rau who manages the entire property in the evening was gracious and helpful. Loved our say, will be back!"
"The views are unbelievably beautiful!
I traveled with a friend and we had two units w/ balcony next to each other - perfect for us.
Be prepared for driving on windy roads with tight turns, but definitely worth the drive. Katia was a wonderful hostess for breakfast, always with a kind word and a smile. "
"Our stay at Quinta do Pego was absolutely unforgettable—the highlight of our trip! 🌟 A true hidden gem with breathtaking views, warm hospitality, and an atmosphere that made it feel truly amazing.. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Douro Valley!

"We had a wonderful stay. Piece and quiet area. Lots to visit and see. Wine/beer tasting nearby. Hotel is newly established. Contemporary style, comfortable beds. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious. There is a bakery at the premises, and it's possible to bake your own bread there. Personnel is friendly and welcoming. Thank you very much for your hospitality! We will definitely come back!"
"We loved our stay at Quinta da Moita. The property looks pristine, the owner and staff are super nice and helpful. You see José’s dedication to keeping the place clean and tidy and you can see him walking around feeding the animals and treating the vines. They have a nice bar with a few options including their own award-winning wine, which we very much enjoyed. Personally it was also nice to stay in a black owned business that looks and feels amazing! Can't recommend enough!"
"Spectacular on all counts.
Set amidst breathtaking, steep vineyards, the beautifully maintained Quinta is an essence of peace and elegance. The property is a complex of solid stone buildings with tasteful architecture, nestled at the bottom of the valley in perfect harmony with its surroundings.
Every detail, big and small, is thoughtfully cared for. The atmosphere is perfectly peaceful and green, with only the songs of birds waking you in the morning.
The host at reception was fantastically...
