"In general, I like this hotel. I was unhappy with my check-in process this time though. I was there for a conference in the adjoining hotel, and I purposely went to the desk ahead of normal check-in time in order to avoid the rush that I knew would be coming later on in the day. I have back issues, and standing in long lines becomes painful very quickly, and I wanted to avoid that. The staff member at the desk checked me in and took my credit card for incidentals and said that the keys would be waiting for me when I came back. She couldn’t give them to me at that time because the room wasn’t clean yet. Understandable. When I went back later to get the keys however, as expected, the line was extremely long, but unfortunately, no keys had been left and I had to sit and wait in the lobby for an hour until the line was short enough for me to be able to stand in it for a short period of time. The lengthy weight was due to the fact that, despite knowing that there was a convention going on in the other hotel, they only had one person working the desk. Despite the number of people, however, the staff member there at THAT time was lovely and made the process as quick and painless as possible."
