"Room clean and bed comfortable, good value basic accommodation for one night stop over. Only criticisms are that the pillows were rock hard, and breakfast is not available until 8am which we weren’t made aware of - as we had to leave early we went without. "

"This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. We arrived, anticipating an attractive and heated pool. We discovered a very dirty, shabby out of date pool that was cold. After much communication with Expedia, the owners of the hotel turned up the temperature on the pool. Unfortunately, because the hotel was listed as a four-star hotel, but was maybe at least a 2 1/2 star or three star hotel, we decided to go somewhere else. "If you are travelling with immunocompromised people , I would not recommend this motel . Cleanliness is so important . Bathrooms need good scrub. Here you are responsible for emptying your own rubbish bins . Great for arranging transport and giving tips on what to see. Nice little pool ."

"This property is spacious and nicely located along the 4 Mile Beach, but it is not easily walkable to the town nor any restaurants nearby. The facilities/pools seemed like they could use a deep cleaning although our room seemed to be updated and clean. The restaurants on site are quite good."

"Our room was pretty rundown, the fridge was old and noisy. Cracked batch room sink and the kitchenette bench was cracked and fixed with tape that was old and black. Chips on the walls and the balcony was dusty and with spiderwebs. The hotel is also far from the village and all restaurants and shops. You have to drive to get everywhere so not convenient if you want to be close to everything."

"My search through Expedia was for self contained, disability friendly so I was disappointed I had not checked this on booking. Being able to hear noises from neighbors through the wall was uncomfortable. There was room in the unit for a small settee or another chair to make comfortable seating for two people which would have made for a nicer stay."

"When you walk into the room you know it’s fresh and lovely cleaned, the colours made you feel happy and relaxed. The fridge was bigger than a bar freeze, that’s a big plus. Loved the NBQ area, everything was then and a large bbq. The bbq was in the pool area with its own table and chairs. Plenty of other chairs for the pool people. I’ll be back ❤️ it"

"Communication with Sonya & Robin, the managers, was excellent. Location perfect to all amenities. The apartment and surrounding communal areas was very clean and had everything you needed for a relaxing stay including laundry facilities, bbqs and a car park. We would definitely recommend these apartments for a stay in beautiful Port Douglas "
