"Staff were really excellent - super helpful. Location was a bit outside of the main city centre but the hotel runs free shuttles to/from the city centre on an hourly bases. There is car parking available for a fee. Hotel and room looks a bit dated but has a great view of Sakurajima. Onsen is smaller than what can be seen in the pictures - view of Sakurajima from the bath is unfortunately blocked for privacy reasons. "

"The view of the volcano was immaculate every morning of my 2 night stay. Thankful for the staff for getting me a corner room on the 11th floor. Laundry was easy to use, bathtub was awesome as it also had a view of the volcano and after walking all day the sauna on the 1st floor was a great end of day treat!"

"On the top floor of the hotel has a large public bath split into men's and women's sides. You go in there naked and shower before sitting in a giant hot tub. It's amazing.... The hotel also has an incredible breakfast. Make sure that you pay in advance the day before and make a reservation for the next day. It'll blow your mind. It's so good. "Very new and super clean, it is operated by the hotel near the station, so it is very clean. Include washing and drying machine. Great location! Just outside the noisy area, but near many good restaurants, try the ramen nearby it is popular and delicious"
