It was a stop half way between the north and the south, we wanted to try somewhere new. It is completely basic, hence the price, but just off the motorway, easy to get to. Easy check-in, rooms clean. I suspect that it’s not tourist season yet and there’s no reason to open up the town-it’s still cool and rainy. Not much going on but really fine for our needs. Hotel is clean and modest. Staff is excellent.
