"This location is just between The Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli and Basilica of San Francesco d'Assisi along a brick walkway between the two. “De Angeli” is a 15 minute walk flat and San Francesco is a 45 monitor walk all up hill. The hotel offers breakfast which you can book along with your reservation that is bountiful and includes eggs to order. Dinner is available with a reservation which can made the same day. We left the hotel early to drive to Roma and they had a box breakfast waiting for to take along on our drive. We stayed in a standard double bed room which was small but included a refrigerator, a bottle of water, a teapot, assorted teas, and shower gel, shampoo, and hand soap. The bed was European king with allergy pillows, but a hard mattress compared to American standards. The staff is very attentive, on duty 24/7, and accommodating. The parking lot is plentiful and free. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel that will take you very near Basilica of San Francesco d'Assisi, and the Rocca Maggiore. If you end up at San Damiano, there is a bus that will take you back to San Francesco d’Assisi and The Eremo delle Carceri."

"This property is in a great location, very clean, and features exceptionally comfortable bedding. However, as a converted old monastery, soundproofing is essentially nonexistent. If your room is near the dining area, you'll hear conversations late into the evening. The food was average, and service generally felt a bit unpolished. For remote workers, the internet speed is a major drawback—a large email took over an hour to upload and ended up failing. That said, I am deeply grateful to the male receptionist on duty. Seeing my struggle, he generously allowed me to use his personal mobile hotspot so I could get my work done. While the Wi-Fi was frustrating, his kindness and hospitality left a truly positive impression."

"They shine in cleanliness. Provided a small fridge with water in the room and the air condition is good. Make sure you get the information on it and let them know the temperature you would prefer. Breakfast is excellent and the staff most attentive. My only dislike was the fact that the stairs up to the third floor are most convoluted. If you have difficulty climbing stairs, ask for the first floor."
