The breakfast was very good and when I mentioned I was celiac I was provided with gluten free bread safe in my own packaging from the bakery. It was close to the restaurants and the beach . Et comme c'est le premièr contact avec l'hôtel, ça laisse une très bonne première impression. "The Hotel Manoir de Mathan was really nice we had a ground floor room which was huge it had every thing you needed even a kettle, the furnishing was to a high level the owner was a lovely lady, really friendly and helpful, and suggested a very nice restaurant which didn't disappoint breakfast was very nice, we only had a continental breakfast, definitely go back "

"This is a beautiful property located close to Normandy. It was a perfect place for us as a base from which to visit Omaha, Utah and Juno beaches, as well as the American and German cemeteries. The Hotel is in an elegant chateaux that has been converted into lovely rooms. We had a suite that was roomy and comfortable, with a great bathroom. Stunning grounds and gardens. A great pool. And the restaurant was over the top. Oliver and John are warm and friendly hosts. Elegant setting, amazing food...

The Chateau is situated in the countryside just 2 miles from the beautiful town of Bayeux. Perfect location for nice walks and for touring the D-Day sites. Note: it’s a 15 euro trip to/from Bayeux. Worth it."
