Close to the Central Station so a handy location for the eurostar. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Great base if your happy to walk (or cycle) to the main attractions. I was on the 2nd floor on the corner and outside noise was not issue. At points you can hear the trams rumbling but I didn't find it intrusive. They have a fun little bar that does great cocktails!

The best welcome ever, the receptionist a blond lady were super helpful, 10/10 in knowledge, I had to book for the sauna and gym and the girls were super helpful at that time. I enjoy greatfully of every premise that the hotel provides. Sauna and spa 10/10 gym and clases 10/10. Fantastic hotel with lovely staff. We were in room 1112 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Hotel were really quick with replying to queries prior to booking and even had a hand written note and sweets upon arrival to celebrate Loved zaandam. Really pretty town. Room big and very clean, bed very comfortable. Staff were all amazing. Breakfast was really nice, good variety. 2min walk to Zaandam station only about 10 mins on train to Amsterdam Central, and about 25 mins from airport.

I really want to say I kind thank you to the staff at the Hendrix. It is a beautiful hotel and the staff are amazing very helpful very knowledgeable and very attentive all the things you need when you just need a nice rest. It is a small hotel and the facilities are just right and just close enough/far away enough, from the busy stuff. I would definitely stay again.

Far and away my favourite hotel in central Amsterdam, for either business our tourism. Great location within easy walking distance of the main tourist areas but in a quieter location. Beautiful interiors, welcoming and friendly staff. Drinks and snacks in the blue room are a nice perk before and after a long day of business or sightseeing. Lovely hotel in a superb position. We booked a deluxe room and were located on the 5th floor overlooking the river. We had a super size balcony. The room was just perfect and the bed and pillows made for a very relaxing and comfortable sleep. The bathroom was a fantastic size with all the amenities .. full size bath and walk-in shower .. double sinks etc and the towels were extra large. Staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble for them. Real quirky hotel, totally different from anything I have stayed in before, but in a good way. Free wine hour in the early evening! would totally recommend this hotel.

My second time staying here - great location if you want to be in the centre along one of the canals. Interesting streets, restaurants and cafes all around. lovely comfortable rooms. A free drink from the bar is a very nice touch - the barman knows his G&Ts. I will definitely go back.

Had a lovely stay in a balcony room, it was perfect for all our needs and will definitely be back to stay again. Was a lovely english lady worked there we didnt catch her name just she had a nice chat with us every morning at the lobby which made our stay even more welcoming.

Great location, away from the Hussle and bustle of the center but walkable

Nice bedroom, although small, with pristine en suite. Very good restaurant which served excellent breakfast. There is an atmospheric bar - catch the wonderful Delft frieze. Central location within walking distance of the station but also good public transport links. Would recommend.
