Farmstay in Municipality of Nieuwegein

"My wife and I stayed here two nights and would definitely recommend this hotel if you're needing something close to public transportation in Utrecht. It's right next to Utrecht Centraal and a huge mall. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to Oudegracht which is filled with shops and restaurants. We also walked to the Vre­den­burg Mar­ket held on Thursdays. The property was clean and quiet despite construction going on across the street. The spa tub in the room was a nice way to relax after a long day. We used Utrecht as a jumping off point to Amersfoort and Gouda. Both were about 20 minute train rides away. The staff was very welcoming and always said hello when we were coming or going."

"The staff was exceptional, They helped us with questions & directions whenever we asked. It's located conveniently to the Train, tram, bus station so you could get to wherever you needed to go. The room was clean & had a large bathroom & shower. We didn't use the restaurant. We just went to a bakery for breakfast & lunch/ dinner in town. It was a nice place for our needs."

"Traveling from the USA first time stay in Amsterdam. Staff was exceptional! Breakfast was truly amazing!! Parking was a little tricky with gate and did not know I had to pay per day. On website said self parking. AC/Heat unit did not work however gave us a fan, if it would have been warmer outside may have been a problem? Also did not know about the city tax per day - not a big deal and we understand. Overall experience very good - great location close to train station and some really good restaurants!!"

"My apologies I never had time to write review until now due to life going fast as we say- but as planning spring holiday, I remembered about this trip that myself and my friend came to just before christmas holidays and had to best time and best stay in this beautiful hotel! One of the best hotels Ive ever come across was with the best staff and surroundings nearby too! Shops, restaurants, train station all less than 5min walk across road and the hotel was kind to give us room upgrade upon arrival making our stay even more gracious. We definitely will be back to courtyard and hopefully can recieve such great service again as we hopefully plan to stay each time we visit Amsterdam, thank you again for your kindness and hospitality welcoming us 10/10 service for sure!☺️☺️☺️"

"We arrived late night Door closed took 25 mins for someone to open from reception even by ringing bell. Staff, not friendly. First room was decrepit, headboard scratched deteriorated with nasty stains. A/C not working, sofa chair with horrible brown and white stains all over the seat and backrest. No Kleenex tissues. Room smelled. Hairs hanging from hangers in the closet. Mold inside shower. Etc. We were staying for two nights, yet after the horrible experience we decided to leave the hotel. As I requested for hotel manager, already packed and ready to leave at the lobby, all I was able to get was the front desk manager. She understood perfectly and saw pictures. Finally after a while she offered comp the night charges and pleaded for us not to leave unhappy. She took matter in her own hands and gave us a much nicer (yet still worn out room) but seemed fine. As my wife was going to settle in she opened the toilet seat, and surprise… the upgraded room to make us happy, was filled with urine and excrement. We didn’t not even unpack … we simply stormed out of that nasty, old, dirty hotel. I was going to pay almost 300 Euros and believe me when I say that was not even worth 1 Euro. Cleaning standards for anyone should not be put at test when traveling to a hotel they brag on this site to be excellent. I say this with all honesty and in an effort to help any vacation or business travelers, avoid at all cost!!! Walk a further from train station, and find any other option!! "
