"The NH Murano is an amazing hotel set in a stunning location. The hotel staff are extremely professional and knowledgeable about the area, restaurants and transport. We booked breakfast in the hotel on the first day, but IMO €20 EACH for the breakfast buffet is a bit steep. You can get a coffee and pastries for 3 people at a local cafe for less than €20, and you are helping the local economy by doing so. "We stayed over the night before our cruise. BEST idea ever!! Got to see San Marcos Square and take a gondola ride and still around the Grand Canal..all in a mess than 20 hour stay! Very convenient access to the train (2 min walk) and extremely helpful staff. Ruth was incredible and called us a taxi when we missed our first train (user error) She patiently told us all the ways to go and places to eat and helped every time we had a question, which was plenty. Breakfast was absolutely beautiful...
