"It was our second time at Maistra Funtana. And we have already booked for next year, again. A very well organized and very good managed hotel. It should deserve at least 4*. Tasty food, clean and recently renovated rooms, a lovely pool kids pool and a nice beach with a lot of included sports offerings. "Very cute apartment over 3 floors with a small but fully stocked kitchen. Good air con on top 2 floors. Short steep walk (7 mins) to the top of motovun. You check in at a restaurant up the hill and one of the staff then takes you to the apartment. Free parking nearby. Only real negatives were the shower cubicle which was way too small and quite a few mozzies in the evening when drinking wine on the terrace…"

"Our first trip to Croatia. We stayed for a week during very hot weather. The pool and wellness facilities were excellent. The a/c in the room was great and accommodation all very comfortable. We loved the vibe in Novigrad and ate at a few of the restaurants, just a short walk from the hotel. There is also a lovely park you can walk to where there is easy access to swim in the sea. We had free parking at the hotel and had days out inPorec, umag and rovinj."

"The staff was some of the best we have ever had! Each of them were so kind and helpful. Loved the Balbi restaurant around the corner for breakfast. Loved the golf cart pick with our luggage. Our room was so clean and decorated with modern features. It had everything we needed, I wanted to stay longer. The location is a 3 minute walk to the central plaza of Rovinj. The staff was helpful in restaurant recommendations and reservations. LOVED the Melegran!"

"We had an amazing time at this hotel. The buffet was amazing with large varieties of food and even containing vegan + vegetarian options. The hotel is very close to the sea, though distances differ depending on your room number. There were many enjoyable evening activities, both for adults and for children. We recommend this hotel!"
