Disappointing stay but friendly staff

Hotel is very old and the room condition is bad. Wifi is only accessible on the ground floor and not the room.Towel was torn and stained. Living Room aircon couldn't stay on and kept shutting off. Only saving grace is the friendly staff in the hotel and location is near the beach.

Es war sehr dreckig. Das Bett war schlecht. Das Badezimmer runtergekommen, der Rost rieselte auf die Toilette, ständig. Die Fenster haben absolut keine Schallisolierung und das an einer 8 spurigen Straße. Wir haben wirklich kein Auge zugemacht da die omani gerne ihre Motoren aufheulende lassen. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Ach ja, Frühstück oder so gibt es auch nicht, kein Restaurant!

It is very well located, but the service is VERY poor and the cleaning does not exist. The AC filters have never been cleaned and it was dirty everywhere. They did not make the room.

Low budget option, do not expect much.

The price and the location is good. Except for that I was not too impressed. When we first arrived we thought that the hotel was shut down as the building looked abandoned. And at the reception they did not have our booking in their system, but we got a room when I showed them that we had a booking.

chabola en el mejor barrio de la ciudad.

La ubicación es excepcional, en medio de todos los hoteles de cinco estrellas y de la royal opera y la playa. Pero el sitio es como un sitio fantasma todo descascarillado, tétrico, sucio, no funciona casi nada (salvo la piscina que tampoco esta preparada: ni hamacas ni nada, salvo alguna silla desvencijada). Vamos como si fuera un sitio en concurso esperando que alguien lo compre y lo restaure por completo...pero entonces ya no constará lo que vale, lógicamente. Lo peor: la basura y lo mal que huele a la puerta de la supuesta entrada trasera (que termina siendo la principal porque es de la única que tienes llave: ver fotos)

You get what you pay for

If you want an inexpensive hotel close to the Opera House, I would recommend this hotel. The room was clean and you can probably ask for a room with a view. Updates are badly needed, however. Breakfast was not worth it so we went to Starbucks. The staff was friendly and it felt safe. Don't expect luxury.

Bien qu'avec une référence, on n'a jamais pu retrouver trace de notre réservation. L'hôtel est non seulement vieillot, mais carrément hors service ; prises électriques, climatiseur, rideaux, salle de bain, tout est déglingué. Pas de wifi. Le personnel fait ce qu'il peut, mais malheureusement c'est un hôtel à fuir.

Great Location

Great location! Located between opera house and walking distance to the beach. There are lots of shops and restaurants around. But the condition is not acceptable. I had to cancel reservation on the spot. Personnel was very helpful and understanding and i do appreciate that a lot. Hotel needs complete renovation. My compliments to the photographer which took photos of the hotel for advertising :)

Great hotel for the price, a little bit worn but clean enough and friendly. Great location near the beach, opera house, resturants and hotel bars that serve western drinks.

Service ok, breakfast poor, needs renovation.

We stayed 2 nights at the Beach Hotel. They upgraded us to an apartment since there was no room with twin beds available (we asked for this in our reservation). The apartment was huge. Service was ok, but after the first breakfast we decided not to take the second breakfast in the hotel. Breakfast room is not inviting, a bit dirty and smelly. Poor offer of food. Apartment was clean but needs renovation. Hotel is on walking distance to nice and clean public beach and close to shops and restaurants.

Great location for beach and cafes

Double room turned out to be one bedroom apartment. Comfy bed and spacious. Good buffet breakfast. Wifi only in lobby but we were fine sitting there. Everyone very friendly. Make sure you have a room beach side as the rev heads fly along the main road. Check out beach football early evening. Amazing views from Qurum Resort cafe nearby.
