"The facilities in the room were very basic, but everything we needed, although the fridge with small freezer compartment froze everything even in the fridge part. Loved the balcony to sit and take morning coffee, and the hotel was close enough to walk to the main street for food and supplies."

"Parking at rear, off ? Street. This would be helpful to future stayers, I found it after a few minutes as I was directed to Main Street, but you would be lucky to get in street parking. No bottle opener. Plenty of tea and coffee which was good. Walls are thin! Woken at 5:30am and again at 7am by couple talking in next room. Although there were many other rooms unoccupied, it blows my mind why you would put people right next door to each other."

"I wouldn’t opt for a room facing the pool and would put in a request not to be in future . Lots of mosquitos in the room and staff just explained away as we were ground floor near the pool area. The hotel don’t even sell mozzie plugs The room was clean but the mozzies detracted from stay and myself and daughter have reminders of the stay as we were both bitten by the mozzies multiple times "

"Cabin was neat and clean except for the showerhead which was green and disgusting. Brought it to the attention of the admin ladies and it was replaced straight away however i feel this should have been picked up when the cabins are cleaned. There was a loud vibration noise every night which could be heard very loudly in the bedroom of the cabin making it hard to sleep, plus sirens every night. If your looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday this is not the accomodation for you. However the service was fantastic! And Grant the handyman was also fantastic and very helpful! The park is very run down compared to other Big 4's could benefit from asking the permanant residents to clean up their areas to make it look more appealing."

"A convenient place to stay in York within easy walking distance to the main part of town including dinner options. Microwave, crockery and cutlery was a bonus but missing a tea towel and to dry dishes after washing up. Check in was efficient over the phone. "
