"Great location and awesome side access into Legoland. Multiple pools and restaurants. Only snag was our room wasn’t cleaned well when we entered. Found jelly/jam stuck on the floor and fold out couch. Used baby wipes and spent 20 min cleaning it up versus waiting to have someone come and we had already unpacked. Other than that, great trip."

"The room was very clean. Housekeeping cane every other day and replaced towels and gave us clean linens. Front desk was very nice. And the maintenance man came right away when I was having issues with the dryer. It was a great stay. Everything was clean. "

"Why I gave one star due to the facts is the room water issues. Either is a super cold or a steamy hot water. It’s not safe for my two young kids to shower either they’re getting sick or getting burn. I called the front desk and the maintenance gentleman came up to our room and couldn’t solved the problem. Unfortunately I have to returned the room keys within less than two hours since checked in. The staff were great and friendly. Unfortunately they’re full booked from what I been told from the front desk staff and this is happening on the weekday (Thursday 03/18/2026). "

"It’s a very unpopular Hilton policy to charge a considerable amount for parking in the hotel’s parking lot on top of the room cost. Few people arrive without a car, so it appears Hilton’s intention is to “nickel/dime” it’s customers."

"I recently stayed at LEGOLAND Hotel California in a Pirate-themed room, and while my kids were initially very excited, the experience started off on a disappointing note. Check-in is advertised at 4:00 PM, but our room wasn’t ready until around 5:30 PM. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t seem particularly concerned or apologetic about the delay, which set the tone for the stay. When we finally got to the room, one of the main pirate-themed curtain pieces above the headboard—something prominently shown in photos—was missing. This was a letdown for the kids. When we contacted the front desk, we were told that rooms re-furbished and nothing could be done, which felt dismissive. For the price point, the room itself felt quite generic, and there weren’t many standout perks to justify the high cost. While breakfast quality was good, the service was slow and disorganized. Guests were often made to wait in line despite several empty tables, which was frustrating. On the day of checkout, we requested additional towels early in the morning (around 7:00 AM) but were told to go to the front desk instead, even though towels were visibly available. This felt inconvenient, especially when we were just trying to get ready for the day. Overall, the experience was average at best. Given the price—around $600 per night—I expected better service, more attention to detail, and a better experience. There are likely better-value options nearby with more amenities and stronger service. "
