I didn't like anything about this property the price would have been alright until they start charging you ridiculous fees on things like $60 for checking in 1 hour early after driving for hours then $60 a night for a pet that you can't even leave in a cage in the room while you go get something to eat $10 for an extra parking space then a $50 per night upfront fee for just checking in on top of the hotel fee itself which was $285 non-refundable because it was the day of arrival that I lost I was charged an additional $321 in the above ridiculous charges that I was told I would be refunded but have not as of yet so PLEASE before booking at this hotel check all fees my husband and I will definitely not be staying here EVER...

Owners are not accommodating at all. Money hungry and won’t work with customers. I would not recommend the sandbar to anybody. Spend a little extra and go stay at the Marriott.

I like the hotel for the most part it was up to date it was visibly clean What i didn’t like is the floor it kept dirt no matter how much swept and mopped and i seen roaches praying they stayed there and i didn’t bring none home with me

The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The room was barely supplied with soap/shampoo. The room did not have hand soap, only body wash. The door looked damaged and is in need of replacement. Our microwave did not work, and it took over 2 hours for someone from maintenance to replace it.

Beach front hotel is next to a hotel of inferior quality. Didn't feel very safe. There's also an empty lot on the other side of the hotel that looks a mess. Expected more for 350.00 a night!

The property is split into two separate buildings, so unless you pay for the "Oceanview" suites, expect to be across the street. That being said, there's an empty lot, so walking to the beach took 5 minutes max. We rented a king efficiency, no view. The building is older and dated, but well kept. The bed was comfortable and kitchen functional, but the bathroom small and there was a musty odor. We had hot showers. Loud music from the cars on the street at night, but you're on the strip. Most hotels in MB are used heavily and saltwater horrible on the structure, so I didn't expect perfect. I expected clean, functional, smaller resort, and comfortable... and that's what I got. If you're going for luxury, pay more. Would I stay again? Yes, but I'd pay more for the Oceanview Room. There's restaurants, shops, and activities everywhere, but none on the property. The pools looked nice, but we preferred the beach. Staff was pleasant. We stayed 3 nights in late August.

Do not be fooled by the photos of a tall hotel on the beach. This property is not on the beach and is in fact a motel in a sketchy area.
