After checking in and dropping our things off in the room we took a short visit to the beach. When we got back we wanted to shower before going to eat. Our bathroom floor oozed black nasty looking water when we stepped on it. The staff did move us to another room a floor above where we were where we had to carry all our luggage and belongings up the stairs because every elevator in the building was out of service. A short 2 night stay and 1 was fixed by the time we checked out. I’m not sure the air was working in the hallways anywhere because even being 90 degrees outside, I would’ve rather been out there than stay in a hallway longer than I had too. The room itself was outdated and did not accommodate very well with any short of mini fridge to keep the few snacks and drinks we brought cold and unspoiled. I realize this is a hotel and every square foot needs to be put to use for profit sake, however I don’t believe one should have to shimmy between the bathroom counter and toilet in order to close the door. Speaking of the bathroom, if you are average height or taller, STAY AWAY!!! The toilet seems to have been recycled from a toddlers daycare center only sitting a few inches above the floor. Are you are looking for a good nights sleep? This is a great place to be. NOT… Carry along a sheet of plywood and just borrow the sheet from the bed to avoid splinters. It will be softer than the mattress!!!
