This is my last time staying here. My room was disgusting!! There was blood on the floor in my bathroom and stains on the sheets. Those rooms cost too much to have that problem.

Recently stayed at the Sandcastle Resort and it was by far the WORST experience ever. The staff was not helpful at all in anyway, i had asked for cookware the second day there (they don’t leave anything in the rooms) and i ended my vacation NEVER receiving anything. Wasted my time and money on buying my own things and you couldn’t even get a hold of them at all !! If you ask housekeeping ANY sort of question they literally brush you off and ignore you, some gal even told me “i don’t know i just started working here” as she waved her hand in the air and walking away!!!!The rooms were a bit messy. Outdoor pool was very very cold, indoor pool felt like i was in a huge hot tub, the lazy river was the best honestly. Also noticed i wasn’t the only guest with issues when i went to check out another guest was also having issues that were being heard and resolved !! Honestly i’d look else where

The view from our balcony was excellent and the room was very large. But it smelled terrible and was very outdated. The couch had cigarette holes, the wall part of the Murphy bed had big chunk missing. The finish on the kitchen cabinets were pealing. There were 2 closets with a total of 4 hangers and the only utensils for the kitchen were 1 fork a few knives and plates in a tub in the closet. The hallway to the rooms were a dirty old carpet with fold in it. I didn’t want to touch anything

Room was dirty. Linens were dirty, dirt, hair and stains on sheets. Towels and wash clothes smelled terrible. Hair in the bath tub and on the floor in the bathroom. Lobby area hallways and elevator disgusting. Came to celebrate my birthday and the place was disgusting. Front desk person that checked me in was not welcoming at all. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

The staff were very rude, stove didn’t work, lock on door was not secure. The halls were dirty and the toilet seat had small holes on it. The parking was convenient and it was nice being right on the beach. No extra toilet paper, no extra clean towels.

The rooms was not very clean and the people who work there are so rude . Got stuck on the elevator for five minutes. Guy was doing drugs on the stairs . Tv fell off the wall . Would definitely not recommend anyone to stay here .

Check in was at 4 and our room wasn’t ready until after 6..We had a room with kitchenette but had no pots, plates, or utensils and light continuously flickers in kitchen. No housekeeping during the stay and had to go ask for more toilet paper, towels, etc. no trash can in room. Only 1 hot tub was actually hot during the first couple days of our trip. Would not recommend this hotel.

Check in is at 4pm. Get in line (completely across the lobby - one person checking in). Room not ready. Give us until 425; 8 minutes away. Get back in line (still across the room). Room still not ready. Let me move you; room not ready. Get in line again (still across the room). Get to the counter and neither room is ready so I tell her I'm tired, I've gone through your line three times and I just want somewhere where I can rest. Get a room on the 15th floor (top). Neither key will work so back to the lobby I go but this time, I go to the beginning of the line. Not rude; not cutting anyone off. Just tired. Get inside the room after applying a shoulder to unstick the door. Take off shoes and socks (bliss after 8.5 hours!) to be walking on a floor full of grit. Sand all over the place. After sweeping the floor twice, I couldn't get the grit off the floor. When you open the sliding glass, water from the AC unit flows into the floor. Standing puddle on a very nice floor. Stove was unusable and the paint was peeling off. I'd stay again but do it on a lower floor.
