Clean room. Spacious for a one room. Right on the beach and boardwalk. Kitchen area was neat and clean. Parking was a block over but could see the top from the 3rd floor. They have 15 minute parking for unloading and loading on site, but they don’t enforce it. You do get a guest tag for the parking garage. So when your friends are over, they have a safe place to park. Only downside of the location is being right on the strip; noise, cars , bars, etc Staff is friendly. They greet you when they see you. Only downfall of the room, there is no balcony. There’s a double sliding door, but only a 10” or so ledge with a railing. If you’re looking for a balcony to do some deep beach breeze sitting, this won’t be the place for you. If you want to be in the heart of Myrtle beach and walk to the SkyWheel or the shops, this is definitely the place for you!

The rooms are outdated but clean. We had issues with the door lock. The staff tried their best to re-program and finally replaced the whole lock. Very nice location and oceanfront view rooms.

We have stay at the Yatchsman several times. It is very dated and it was noisy due to it's proximity to the large restaurant/bar next door. There was also a lot of noise from the street. Maybe we are just older and don't appreciate the night life like we used to. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
