"The room was a nice size but the room had some plumbing issues that flooded the bathroom out our last night there. Was not able to take a shower before we left because the carpet was soaked with feces. The pool area was nice besides the teenagers entering throughout the night "

"The breakfast was one of the best things about the stay. The line is long. But, there was play of good food. The staff was very friendly and able to answer questions and manage concerns. The pools were NOT in great condition: they were dirty and closed for part of the stay. I’m hoping it’s due to just opening. However, being spring break, the use of pools and hot tubs are wanted. The biggest, man pool started to look cleaner as the week went on. But, it was crowded. There was blood all over one of the lounge chairs that had dripped onto the ground. Upon arrival, our beds looked clean, but the floors and carpet were not. There was sand all in the carpet and items on the floor under the table and chairs. They focused on the construction nearby, but other than being unsightly, it wasn’t so loud. Not sure I’d stay there again "

"Room was dated, hotel looks beautiful from outside but shows signs of wear on inside. I thought this was a 4 star hotel but it is definitely at best 3 star. Check in is 4, we got there at 4:05 and room was not ready, finally got my keys at 4:55 which after arriving during travel is one of the worse things a hotel can do to you is not have the room ready at check in. Pool was not monitored at all by staff for rowdy and gross behavior, we ended up going down to different hotel to their pool that was actively monitored. we did not have hot water 1 day and I called and they said someone would be right up, i waited for 30 mins then left for the beach assuming someone would come while we were gone, they didnt. Got back called again someone came up right away and told us to turn all the hot water on in all the bathrooms and kitchen and after 5 mins we would have hot water because their system needs the extra to push to get the hot water up…it worked but seems crazy to have to do that. Anyway, room setup was great, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms is perfect for my family and the room had a great view and with some money invested could be a wonderful room. But it needs a renovation, paint, mirror was hanging off wall, hairdryer in master didnt work, all the bathrooms have that fiberglass tub inserts for walls and tubs and shower valves that looks like they are from the 80’s. I would not stay here again. "

"It did not look like it has had any upgrades or up keep since it opened. We had 2 towels and one was cloth for 2 people for a 3 night stay. "

"The pool was nice but no one was there togive towels or keep the floors and elevators clean. This left a damp smell everywhere. Even the lobby chairs were soaking wet. I made the mistake of sitting in one. My entire rear end was wet for hours. No place to change. Checkin took hours."

"Our 2 day stay was a disaster from the beginning. We arrived at 4:30 for a 4pm check in and there was line of people out of the door trying to check in. We left and came back at 7pm and I spoke to another guest who said they arrived at 4pm and got checked in at 5:30pm We stayed in the north tower of the hotel and the hallways and elevator smelled of marijuana. (explain that smell to your kids). We left for dinner and came back at 11pm to go to bed to find that the AC was not working. It was too late to call for maintenance so we just went to sleep and had to sleep with the balcony door open. The overall experience was so poor that elected to check out the following morning and drive home to NJ. We complained at check out and asked if they would give us a partial refund. They told us to contact Expedia. Expedia contacted the hotel and the hotel refused to provide a partial refund. The hotel also double charged our credit card for sundries bought in the store. They have not replied to my email request for a refund (3 days). I would call but the front desk proved to be totally incompetent every time we went there so would be no point. Would not go back and would not recommend to anyone."
