"Nice place, country style. Very spacious room. Quiet but as it is in nature we were waken up by birds very ealy in the morning. Pool was nice but was not running as they cut the motor. Breakfast is very basic for North Americans and juices are made with sugar and water, no real juices."
"Very helpful stuff. Breakfast was very good. We had to check out early and they offered a box breakfast to take with us before 6:30 am. That boxed breakfast was one of the best we ever had in any place."
"A peaceful and charming hotel. Very quiet, clean, strong AC, friendly staff, and free coffee. What more can you ask for? Would definitely stay there again. "
"We had a great stay at Sukhothai Garden Hotel in Old Town. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and everything was very clean. The rooms are small, but perfectly fine for a short stay when you’re mostly out exploring.
The bathroom is an all-in-one situation — toilet, shower, and sink share the same space — so after a shower, everything is wet. It didn’t bother us, but more pampered travelers might need a moment to adjust. On the plus side, the shower had excellent water pressure.
Breakfast was a wonderful surprise. There were several hot dishes (eggs, rice, curry, meats, soups), plus coffee, tea, cereal, toast, sweets, and fresh fruit. A really strong start to the day.
The grounds are compact but pleasant, and the free bikes were a huge bonus for exploring the nearby historical park.
Only real downside: the bed is extremely firm. Not a deal breaker, but it might as well have been a very enthusiastic box spring.
For the price and amazing location, it was absolutely worth it.
8/10 — we’d stay again."
"More like a guesthouse than a hotel. The breakfast was adequate but nothing special. The walls are thin and the door locks not safe at all. The public balcony provided a sense of community though."
"This was a great resort to stay at! Great Staff, a very nice suite and very convenient to the Archeological Park. We liked this place so much that we reserved a room for next year. Great Resort!"
