Genuine experience with friendly staff

My stay in this ryokan was a wonderful experience. In addition to being conveniently located near Nagasaki main station, I could enjoy an early check-in, which I appreciated a lot after a very long flight. The Japanese room in which I stayed was really beautiful, and pleasant to stay in. In the evening, I also liked to take a bath. Last but not least, the staff is very kind, and talkative I think provided you can speak a bit of Japanese (which I could not unfortunately). I can highly recommend this ryokan.

A genuine experience of staying in a ryokan with enough modern conveniences to ensure comfort. The hosts were considerate and helpful. A very enjoyable stay.

老爷爷非常和蔼可亲 虽然是有历史的旅馆 但是里面的设施维护的很好，榻榻米也很舒服。很适合来体验日本传统的民宿。

傳聞中的友善伯伯果然十分隨和，平易近人! 民宿雖然距離JR站遠一點，但在電車櫻町站只要步行2分鐘。我訂了獨立浴室房間，空間十分寬大及舒服! 有機會再到長崎，必定再入住!

관리하시는 할아버님 할머님 굉장히 친절하십니다. 욕실은 공동이긴하나 잠금장치있어서 불편한점은 크게없습니다.

Expected it to be a very budget style ryokan but it exceeded my expectations significantly. Rooms were beautifully designed, plus incredibly spacious and clean for the price, while all amenities were provided for at no extra charge. The owner is also super nice, though do take note that you will have to lug your heavy bags on a rather narrow staircase. Haha. Location is also a little bit of a walk from the station but totally manageable. Would definitely stay here again. Amazing value for money.

깨끗하고 나가사키에서 걸어서 5분 거리, 바로 옆에서 트레인을 따면 나가사키 어디든지 관광지나 쇼핑몰 이동 가능, 나가사키 역의 대형 쇼핑몰과 마트가 있어서 용이하기 이용, 연로한 부부가 운영하는데 무척 친절하고 숙소는 구석구석까지 깨끗함, 숙소 뒤에 오래된 절이 있어서 산택하기 좋음. 나가사키 트레인은 기본요금만 내면 어디나 쉽게 감.

A splendid stay!

Mr. Isamu Fujiwara, the proprietor of this delightful traditional Japanese-style lodging ('Ryokan'), was most helpful and hospitable. The location is only a 10 minute walk from the train station and dining areas -- a perfect location from which to tour the sights of Nagasaki. For us, these sights included both secular sites, such as the Atomic Bomb Museum and religious sites, such as the 26 Martyrs Monument and Museum, Oura and Urakami Cathedrals, and a day trip down Shimabara Peninsula. Accommodations were delightful. Washer/dryer provided. Highly recommended.

No-frills, homestay accommodation. Be prepared to make your own beddings before and after sleep. Location is a little inconvenience, but no big issue.

L'hôte est très professionnel et bienveillant, plein de petites attentions. Nous avons vraiment pu nous immerger dans la vie japonaise. Le logement est au centre de Nagasaki, À 10mn de la gare. Nous avons énormément apprécié ce premier arrêt dans une ville Japonaise.

The stay was fantastic, lovely staff which greeted with a smile whenever you went back or out. The room was quite spacious and clean too. If you would like a Japanese experience at an affordable price i cannot recommend this enough. Lovely rooms with a great location.
