"The amenities were fantastic. It was nice to be able to walk right into the beach in the morning, spend the afternoon at the pool, and enjoy complimentary popcorn with the kids. The staff was fantastic and very accommodating when we arrived."

"Here is an honest review for those looking to discover OBX. The Dolphin is strategically located right on the beach. Everyday you'll have the opportunity to walk through a small little tunnel and you have your own Beach. I found this to be great you literally have airbnbs across the street and the big differences they have to use the public beaches. The Dolphin also . Leads you into Hatteras which is great if you have an off-road vehicle. The staff were wonderful always accommodating. They leave you alone you won't see them unless you need something everyone there was polite and the guy who runs the place Jim is fantastic. While it might not be for everyone if you're the person who's looking to get away with your spouse and you're not even going to spend that much time where you stay this place is perfect. It's literally get up in the a.m. come home at the end of the day and then you can walk in the evening and everything's right there. It really was what we were looking for."

"The room was clean and had all the basic amenities. I don't need frills, just clean, quiet, and safe, and that's what this hotel is. Check-in was great, I enjoyed the sweet treat! I'd stay here again for sure. Being walking distance to Jennette's Pier was a huge perk for me. Only thing I'd note is, the walls are very thin, I could hear my neighbor talking clearly, but I lucked out and didn't not have noisy neighbors!"
