"We Stayed 3 nights at the Rio Mar in a King beach view room that was large and lovely. The view was beautiful from our little terrace. We enjoyed the huge luxurious bathroom with the soaking tub, shower and 2 vanities. Everyone we encountered on the staff was super welcoming, kind and helpful . My husband was born in Puerto Rico and loves all of the native foods in the region. This hotel offered so many great restaurants but our 2 favorites were Iguanas Puerto Rican cuisine and Roots Kitchen which had a large selection of many different things. Both were delicious. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast every morning with excellent service and delicious selection of dishes. The pools and the beaches were wonderful. Although there was no beach service of beverages or food. All in all, it is a beautiful, comfortable, great resort that we highly recommend. We did not have a rental car. It is a bit isolated so staying on the resort was all we could do,. Golf and tennis are available and there is a very small casino which was fun after dinner. Plenty of room to roam and relax. You should give it a try!"

"Loved the resort feel. The pool area needed updating and it looked like there was mold under the coving. The bartender was uninterested in helping the guests. The restaurant, front desk, and housekeeping staff were amazing. The breakfast was ok but the breakfast attendant was awesome. We would have liked to have been informed about the event that was taking place as we arrived as it was intrusive and loud overall a great atmosphere"

"The property was clean except for the carpet in the bedroom. The staff at front office was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was close to the beach, only to cross the street. Faccio Pizza was amazing, the food, the staff and the drinks. Loved it. Emigrante Gastrobar not good at all, including the staff not welcoming at all. Our stay was a 7 out of ten."
