As we arrived , The check-in process at Thavorn Resorts and Spa was seamless, thanks to the Expedia booking reference which made everything quick and hassle-free. The staff were exceptionally polite and gentle, warmly welcoming us and, as a wonderful surprise, upgraded us to the private beachfront villas at no extra cost. This 5-star property is truly a tropical paradise blending lush flora and fauna with stunning ocean views, creating a serene forest-meets-sea atmosphere. The grounds are impeccably maintained—spotlessly clean and beautifully landscaped. The peaceful ambiance is enhanced by the gentle sounds of the ocean, making it a perfect escape from the everyday hustle. What really stood out were the numerous ancient Thai statues and idols scattered throughout the resort, adding a rich cultural vibe and bringing the surroundings to life. "We stayed for three nights and liked everything about this property. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice and spacious (with a balcony), the bathroom was great and the water pressure in the shower was good. There are two locations to have breakfast, we tried them both and were impressed by the variety of foods offered and the quick and efficient service. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, far enough away from the hustle and bustle (and noise) of Bangla Road, but close enough to easily walk there. We would certainly stay here again."
