"After you leave the main road to, literally, dive onto this hotel on a 45 or so degrees slope, you'll find yourself in a tiny combe crossed by the river flowing from the top of the main mountain: Sri Pada a.k.a. "It was so convenient for us to stay here and in the middle of the night walk up to the bottom of Adam's Peak and climb the mountain. The hotel provides meals as well which is handy. The staff are helpful."

"There is a lot to like about the Slightly Chilled Yellow House. The staff was excellent - very knowledgeable and eager to accommodate any request. Breakfasts were very good and plentiful. The location is great - just 500m to the start of the Adam’s Peak trail. And there are other walks through tea plantations right out the door. The room was generally fine, though felt a bit tired - not run down, just not crisp. It also smelled musty."
