We travel around Japan and have been living in many similar styled ryokans and rarely run into such disappointments. The hotel obviously has dinner option. "Perfect location"

"We only stayed here for one night just for a stop over so we didn’t expect much. It was cheap and surprisingly very spacious. The best part was that the futons provided were the most comfortable futons that I’ve slept on during my trip.
