"This property was absolutely epic. Extremely fast communication, gorgeous house and delicious dinner coordinated during a time when most things are shut. Mari and her team were so great. We regretted we didn't have more than one night to enjoy this picturesque village and perfect house. It surpassed all expectations. "If you looking for a quiet family oriented place for 1-2 nights outside Kyoto with a Ryokan and privacy. This is the place. Bring lots of games and books, nice walks along the river. It is not a large hotel and it is not easy to get to. But the right circumstances make this a perfect experience. "

"It’s one of the best hotels we have stayed at in the entirety of Japan! The large space was a lovely change after being stuck in small accommodations and overall we fell in love with the decor as well. Staff were always so polite and helpful. It’s also right down the street from the market and other major shopping areas."
