Good Bed and Breakfast. The Room was cleaned every day and breakfast is served at 9:00am in a long table with all other guests which is nice as we all share our experiences in Nappa and get ideas of other places to go too. Nice house with a beautiful garden.

Fantastic B & B

Fantastic room (Kaitlyns suite). Close to reverything. Fantastic breakfasts Great host. Would definately recommend.

Nice place. Well kept and clean. Nice physical environment and amenities. Only queen sized beds which was a problem for my wife and I. If they had king beds, I’d stay there again.

The room and house are great. Ron did a great job in making recommendations on wine country tours that we ended up raving about. We left a pillow in the room and called 8 hours later and he is mailing it to us.. Great place to stay in Napa..

A place that feels like home

I love how this place feels like home. We stayed here for a week, and we love how serene this place is. The location is close to downtown Napa, and close to the freeway exit. We were served breakfast everyday, homemade prepared. Our room, Amy's room, was spacious and very clean, and I love the dual sink in the bathroom. The owner, Ron, is very accomodating and can be chatty sometimes but I enjoyed his fun stories. I highly recommend this place. I hope to be back someday.

The location was fine, the only thing I would suggest is to add central air conditioning to the entire complex. The current air conditioners are loud and insufficient.

Stahlecker House -- A very nice and comfy respite

Lovely place to stay. We enjoyed Kira's room -- a suite to suit three adults (myself and two grown children). The place was quiet and peaceful, and the owner, Ron, is such a nice fellow. Breakfast was tasty.

Pleasant stay

Lovely, friendly and informative host. Our room was clean and fully equipped with towels and wine glasses. The bed was a little softer than we like. The one drawback was the absence of curtains in the room. The venetian blinds didn’t provide sufficient privacy; nor did they block the light from the outside security lights.

Beautiful house and grounds in Napa

The Stahlecker House made you feel like you were in your own home. The owner is a wonderful man you wish was your neighbor and the staff was treated like an extended family. My wife and I will certainly be back.

Rooms are clean but very tired and dated; mattresses and pillows could use replacing. Breakfast is a sit-down affair not served until 9:00 am and there is no choice. Why not follow the lead of most other B&Bs and put out a selection of fruit, homemade breads and muffins, granola, maybe a frittata and some good quality coffee and let guests help themselves starting at 7:00? And how about offering a couple of newspapers?

Being the only couple there for our first 2 days of our 4 day stay, requested breakfast early. Request denied! Breakfast is served at 9:00AM (warning bell at 8:30) otherwise you’re on your own. No one is allowed in the kitchen area. Fresh coffee is available around 8:30 when the cook arrives, otherwise thermos & microwave available (creamer is French vanilla only). No choices at breakfast, no newspaper, no restroom in common area. The place is dated and tired. The Candlelight B&B next door reportedly is the place to stay for the same price.

A Napa Gem!

We loved this B&B. Breakfasts were excellent, the room was clean and comfortable and the atmosphere was friendly. Enjoyed listening to Mr. Stahlecker and his stories about Napa. We got good advice on things to do in town. The location is close to central Napa on a quiet residential street. Parking was off street. Highly recommended.

Nice Alternative

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect way to spend time with friends. It was like having our own home in Napa for a couple of days. Only someone else made breakfast. Would definitely return.
