"Napa Valley Hotel & Suites is definitely an older hotel in Napa. I was by myself staying for a couple of nights. Staff was very friendly. Parking in the "courtyard" is limited. (But there's parking on the street). I didn't drive. So I can't say how much of an issue it is with guests who did drive. The rooms are small and the walls are thin. (Luckily, my very talkative neighbors left after one night!) For me, the queen bed was very comfortable, clean, and I slept well. There was also a flat screen TV and some meager, complimentary toiletries. Wifi was very weak in my room. The bathroom was a tight squeeze - a tub/shower and toilet. Outside of it were the sink/counter area. I had no issues with water pressure or temperature. There was a coffee maker in the room, including two coffee packs/ accompanying powdered cream/sugar/sweetener. The hotel doesn't serve a continental breakfast. (Although, being downtown, there are places within walking distance. And there are some really good bakeries not too far.) Considering its downtown location, the price I was able to get for a weekend was far cheaper than any of the other hotels I looked into. Hey, I realize there are a lot of picky travelers out there. However, if you're seriously watching your wallet, and don't mind a lack of chi chi accommodations, the Napa Valley Hotel & Suites isn't all that bad."
