"The hotel itself is very clean, updated, comfortable. The room we had was on the traditional side and was spacious with a separate bedroom with balcony with river view. Buffet dinner was delicious. Hot tubs is clean and amenities including shower head were great. Recommend to stay just one night. Because the “Kinugawa” itself is a small town and surrounded by abandoned buildings, not much to do. The check in staff didn’t let me know you needed reservation for the return taxi. "大人2人、子供1人で格安過ぎでした。 ハンターマウンテン塩原の前乗りで急遽予約しました。 素泊まりですが、朝食は出発が早い為必要なし。夜ご飯は近くのファミリーマート(車必須)で調達しました。 部屋も広く清潔にしており、チェックイン後もゲームセンター、温泉卵作り、卓球などのアクティビティがあり、何より温泉がいいので、時間が足りない位でした。"

"The room was absolutely beautiful, the private bath was so lovely in the cold night air. The staff were all so friendly and attentive, it really felt like they had thought of everything! We would definitely stay here again The only downside is that when arriving, the driveway/road up to the hotel is completely gravel so it was very hard to get our suitcase to the hotel. We ended up getting a taxi back to the train station at the end of our stay and that was much easier. Strongly recommend not...
