"When we arrived in the afternoon, we found clear instructions of room assignment, etc. at the reception desk so we simply self checked in. We didn’t reserve breakfast during booking and there wasn’t anybody around to ask about it so we just bought some items from a nearby mini market, to be safe, and, only to find out in the morning from a staff that breakfast reservation is not necessary. The shared kitchen in the lower level makes it easy for us. We really enjoy the flexibilities of how this hotel operates. We also like the convenience of getting to the monasteries from the hotel. Besides, several restaurants are located nearby. A limited number of parking spaces are available onsite, however, plenty of spaces available nearby."
"Very nice hotel in a great location: peaceful and quiet, quick walk to Kastraki for dinner. Also, it’s only a 20 min walk to one of the smaller monasteries. The hotel itself was rustic but clean. Our room (dubbed “Ariadne”) was spacious, with a kitchenette/ family room. The breakfast was very simple, but it worked for us."
"The hotel has a good location, near from the monasteries at Meteora. The breakfast is good, and was exactly what one can expect from a 3-star venue.
The negative point are the noise from the other rooms. Unlike what is announced at the expedia site, there is no sound proof walls. One listen everything what's going on in the adjacent rooms.
Other problem is the size of the shower box. Couldn't be smaller.
To finalize, at the reception and around the hotel is a man, maybe even the owner, not friendly at all."
"Good breakfast, had enough options. Hotel staffs are very friendly and experienced. They provided sufficient information for us to travel around, called us taxi every morning. We enjoyed staying this hotel."
"A nice little spot. We stayed in the junior suite A. It was kind of strange shape, very long wit nooks and crannies. The hot tub took up most of one room. No closet.
Recently remodeled and looks nice. Under the bed and table and cabinets was dust and dirt though.
The food onsite was great. Front desk helpful. No gym on spa onsite. Little store just across the street. Parking was tight. Room had two tvs which was great, one for the tub and a brand new curved tv for the kind bed which was pretty comfy."
